Admission Forms are available after the production of marksheet of class X at office counter on payment of Rs. 500/- between 
8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.  or can  be  downloaded from our website (www.oxfordmanzil.com/www.opsranchi.org). In case of 
downloaded form, a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Oxford Public School, payable at Ranchi should be sent along with the 
application  form.
 
JAC/State Board Candidates
a)  Forms availability – 10.05.2012 to 15.05.2012 (After declaration of result of std. X)
b)  Criteria : (i)  PCM – Eng + Maths + Science/Maths + Science – 80% and above
(ii)  PCB – English + Science / Maths + Science – 80% and above
(iii)  COMMERCE – English + S.St. – 80% and above
c) Last date of submission of forms – 15.05.2012
d) Date of  Test : 17.05.2012 (Thursday) at 9.30 a.m.
e)  Declaration of Result : 17.05.2012 at 4.00 p.m.
DATE OF ADMISSION : 18.05.2012 and 19.05.2012 only.
 
ICSE / CBSE Candidates

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
 
Admission is taken on the basis of written and oral tests; subject to availability of seats in a particular class. The test comprises a written examination in English, Maths and Hindi. There is no specific syllabus for the admission test but a candidate must have adequate knowledge of the subject appropriate for the class lower than that in which he/she desires admission. The child should be medically fit. At the time of Admission to Class I onwardsT.C. is required.
 
MINIMUM AGE REQUIRED
 
For PREP. 4yrs6months+ :  For STD.I - 5yrs.6months+ AND ONWARDS. (As on
31st March)
THE SCHOOL RESERVES THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION AT ITS

ADMISSION TO CLASS XI
 
The candidates seeking direct admission to Class Xl should have 90% or above marks for
Science Stream, 80% or above marks for Commerce Stream. The list of other short listed
candidates will be displayed on the School Notice Board for Test and Interview.
 
MARKS REQUIRED FOR DIRECT ADMISSION
  • For PCM - 90% in English, Maths 8 Science
  • For PCB - 90% in English 8 Science
  • For Commerce - 80% in English, Maths 8 Social Science
 
WITHDRAWAL
 
A clear calendar months notice in writing or a months fee in lieu of notice is required before a
student is withdrawn from the school. T.C. is issued only when all the dues of the school are
settled along with T.C. Fees.
A student can be dismissed on any of the following grounds -
  • Indisciplinary activities.
  • Irregular attendance.
  • Damage of school property.
  • Moral breach considered by the school authorities.
  • Failing for two consecutive years in the same class.
